If it had any more grog, I might shy away from it. I made a bud vase with a narrow neck with great ease, I was able to trim the base and details on the neck without the grog getting in the way or making deep grooves. Attaching a handle on the mug body felt great as the clay was able to firm up just enough to hold shape, but still plastic to bend into shape. The clay dries at a nice, even pace that seems to be less greasy than other dark clays that seem to have a slower drying time.
