Low-Fire Clay ∆06-04
Our low-fire clay is perfectly suited for sculpture, planters, and projects that benefit from being slightly more porous. At Seattle Pottery Supply, low-fire clays are available in a wide range of colors—from pure white to rich brown.
What is low-fire clay used for? Low-fire clay bodies tend to be easy to work with and often have less shrinkage. This makes them forgiving joiners, excellent for hand-building and introductory wheel-throwing. Make sure to finish low-fire clays with low-fire glazes. Low-fire clays are designed for firing range ∆06-04 (1830 - 1940° F).
