Our Midrange Myster Clay is made from reclaimed clay ends and other pieces from our production process. Since we mix 'em all together, it means that, much like Dum-Dum's Mystery Flavor, when you buy a block of Mystery Clay, you won't really know what's in it. But never fear, we've tested all blocks to ensure the component clays work well together and vitrify at cone 5.
These blends (never the same mix twice) open the door to the world of the unpredictable, where every piece is an exciting surprise. Even better? We're letting them go at an unbeatable price, so this is perfect clay to play around with.
To use: wedge wet clay, work as preferred, and fire to ∆ 5. Use with mid-range glazes.
*Please be aware that natural impurities may occasionally occur in our clay! Our clays are made with natural minerals, mined from the earth. In some rare cases, natural impurities, or ribbons of other minerals, are mixed in with the raw materials provided by our suppliers.
