The Giffin Grip® Mini is built with the same care as the original tool but with a smaller profile, and packed with useful new features. The features include: 
 
- It's as thin as possible so the trimmings stay in the splash pan!
- It has a smaller diameter and fits on the Shimpo Aspire.
- It goes tighter, so you can trim super small shapes like sake cups!
- It holds on the bat pins. There are no brackets to adjust and no setup time!
- It has a locking button so you never worry about it getting loose during trimming and you can trim in either direction. 
 

It works on all wheels with standard 10” Bat Pins (including the Shimpo Aspire).

*Model 10 parts are not compatible with the Giffin Grip® Mini and vice versa.

  • Can the Giffin mini be used on a wheel with NO bat pins? Would it sit on a bat mate chamois without moving or does it need to be locked onto the wheel to operate properly?

    Unfortunately, it needs to be used on a wheel with bat pins.

  • My wheel head is 9inches dia. Will this grip be compatible with the smaller diameter wheel head?

    The Giffin Grip Mini fits onto bat pins instead of on the edges of the wheel head. It can fit both both 6” and 10” wide pin spacing, so if the bat pins on your wheel are either 6" or 10" apart, it will fit.

  • Does it fits in Artista wheel from speedball?

  • What is the tallest piece that this device can hold securely?

    The taller it goes, the more delicate to secure. The feet are 6" in length. You can hook them together. Some people can go up to 27" on a full-size Giffin Grip, perhaps less capacity on the Mini.
