Can this be used for food use pieces like plates or tea pots? Is it microwave safe?
If used at cone 06, the entire piece must be fully glazed, for the piece to be food safe. At cone 6, anywhere food will touch must be glazed. When properly applied and fired this glaze is dinnerware safe. Always check for pin holing, crazing, bloating, glaze thickness, etc. -
How many coats are suggested for the crystal clear glaze ?
2 thin coats are recommended for this glaze.
