Zinc-Free Clear is a glossy glaze recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of color shift. Most underglazes, stains, and coloring oxides will show their best color with Zinc-Free Clear.
Some colors may be muted with HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear:
V-315 Peach
V-316 Light Pink
V-323 Salmon
**Note that all dry dipping glazes can be difficult to layer. Dipping glazes behave differently from brushing and they require thorough testing prior to layering full piece.

Do I just mix this dry glaze with water and a sieve?
This is pre mixed but if you have powdered then yes. water and a sieve. IF you need to thicken you can use CMC. -
Is Amaco Hf-9 clear a for cone 10 firing? Is it a dipping glaze?
HF-9 is a midrange glaze and is recommended for cone 5/6
