I purchased a Studio Pro Bat system that are particle board with interchangeable square bats. I had a question about the bat system. Can I seal the wooden pieces with a sealant product that might stop any swelling that would then need to be sanded? Waterproofing like ok wooden decks. Thanks for any help I can receive. Chuck Flagg
In theory yes but that may change how well your clay adheres to the bats, and how it interacts with tools. I would try with just one board and do some stress tests to see if its something you want to do.
