Kaolin, Calcined (Glomax) is a high-temperature, white-firing kaolin that has been heat-treated to remove chemically bound water, increasing its refractory properties and reducing shrinkage in clay bodies and porcelain blends. It also improves glaze suspension and adds strength to fired ware.
Can be irritating if inhaled or ingested. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest. Wash hands.
