Volclay Bentonite is a fine-grained smectite clay used in ceramics as a plasticizer, binder, and suspending agent—helping improve workability, aid slip stability, and reduce cracking in bodies.
Contains naturally occurring crystalline silica and fine dust that can irritate respiratory passages, skin, and eyes. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest. Wash hands when done.
