Redart is commonly used in low-fire clay bodies and terra cotta applications. Its high iron content contributes to its distinctive red hue. Due to its low plasticity, it is often combined with other clays to improve workability and reduce shrinkage.

In some rare cases, natural impurities, or ribbons of other minerals, are mixed in with the raw materials provided by our suppliers.
