Hello, My name is Great Anunike, a Civil engineering master’s degree student at McMaster University. Currently, I am undertaking research on the use of heavyweight fine aggregates to develop radiation-shielding ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) for nuclear facilities. I am very much interested in incorporating ilmenite as a heavyweight aggregate in my research because of its beneficial properties as reported by previous literature. Using ilmenite, with its ultra-fine particle size and high specific gravity, will greatly enhance the performance of this type of concrete. Additionally, it will also minimize environmental pollution caused by this waste by-product. Please I would like to kindly request some information regarding the material stated, to guide me in purchasing these materials. Could you provide the safety data sheet, specification sheet, particle size spectrum, and chemical composition of ilmenite? I could also include my supervisor, Assistant Professor Ousmane Hisseine, as a reference if need be. Thank you and anticipating your response.
