Lithium Carbonate (Powder Tech)

Lithium Carbonate (Li₂CO₃) is a white, powdery material used in ceramics as a flux in glazes and clay bodies. It lowers the melting point of glazes, promotes glossy surfaces, and can enhance color response, particularly in high-temperature stoneware and porcelain. Lithium Carbonate is also valued for creating subtle surface effects and controlling glaze fluidity. Powder Tech is a smaller mesh-size than Fine.

Lithium Carbonate can be irritating if inhaled or ingested. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area.
