Nickel Carbonate (NiCO₃) is a green powder used in ceramics to produce vibrant green colors in glazes and stains. It provides consistent color in both oxidation and reduction firings and can slightly influence glaze melting when used in small amounts.

Nickel Carbonate is toxic if inhaled or ingested and can cause skin or respiratory irritation. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not use it on functional ware that will contact food or drink unless fully encapsulated in a stable glaze.
