Originally formulated to dilute the color of Celadon series glazes, C-11 Mixing Clear can be used as a stand-alone clear glaze. Mixing Clear is a stiff gloss zinc-free glaze that works well with most underglazes.
Some underglazes may appear muted with Mixing Clear:

Can Amaco mixing clear be mixed with other brand glaze? I.e. Can I mix spectrum glazes with it? Or Mayco stroke and coat?
The Amaco Mixing Clear is designed to be mixable with other Amaco Celadon glazes. You can of course experiment with mixing glazes together. As long as you are aware that it might produce some unexpected results! Make sure to use cookies to protect your kiln shelves and always fire test tiles before committing to new glaze combonations.
