Holiday Scam Alert: Stay Safe this Holiday Season

As the holidays approach, we've become aware that bad actors are illegally cloning e-commerce websites to steal personal customer information and credit card data. 

Here are some ways to protect yourself while shopping this season: 

• Always check the URL before ordering. Our website is Seattlepotterysupply.com. Any other URL is not us! Pay particular attention to close-but-not-quite URLs that mimic the real website. 
• Look for (and use) payment platforms like PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay instead of your credit card. Don't see an option for those? It's not our site! We take all of the major payment platforms.
• Check for contact information. Our website has our phone number at the top, and contact information in the footer. Fake websites don't include phone or email information.
• Be wary of too-good-to-be-true pricing. Fake sites often lure people in with super-low prices.
