What's the difference between the first and second images? In the description, they both say cone 6 firing.
There's a subtle difference. The first one is fired to cone 06. This is a much lower temperature, around 1800F. The second is fired to cone 6, which is around 2200F. In ceramics, you can think of the 0 in front of a cone number almost like a negative sign. Cone 06 is like Cone -6.
