DL-59 Brick Red is an opaque vivid red speckled glaze that breaks translucent where thin. This bold color is great on its own or layered with other DL glazes.
While measuring the specific gravity is not required to initially mix the AMACO Dipping and Layering glazes, there may be a time you need to know the recommended specific gravity for DL-59 Brick Red is 1.58.
