QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
What color is this? Is it like a brown red or more bright red and is it food safe?
It is cosmetic grade, not intended for use in foods. It is a brighter red, and one that's pretty powerful, the outside of the bag turns red just from filling and handling!

Can I purchase a smaller sample of your red iron oxide? For example, do you sell large bags to other retailers from whom I can purchase smaller bags. I am a studio potter, and I would love a big bag or two to last me the rest of my life. My ceramic supplier has switched from red iron oxide to ferrous oxide, which is in a different state of oxidation, and does not give me the results I prefer.
Our smallest size is a 1/2lb bag, and our largest size is a 50lb bag. You can always purchase a 1/2lb bag and see how it works for you.
