How or what steps can be taken to stop or minimize crystal melting and fading? How serious is the enhanced mobility?
If you are taking this up to mid-range there is not much you can do to minimize crystal fading. You can take care to put less crystals on your piece, you can pick them out of the glaze a little bit. This should help with crystal melting. However, results are very variable, we recommend testing when using any new glaze.
