Kaolin, Grolleg

Kaolin, Grolleg is a premium, ultra-white kaolin prized in porcelain production for its exceptional whiteness, high purity, and low impurity levels. It improves plasticity, reduces shrinkage, and helps produce a bright, translucent porcelain body with smooth, even firing. Its limited availability and labor-intensive mining process make Grolleg one of the more expensive kaolins used in ceramics.

Contains crystalline silica, which can be harmful if inhaled. Can be irritating if ingested. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest. Wash hands when done.
