Originally only available as part of our Speckled Clay Flight, Driftwood got such rave reviews that it is now available on its own! The result of 6+ months of research and development, it's a cream-colored speckled dream. It fires to a warm white with flecks of black-brown. The speckles develop mild to maximum depending on your firing range from cone 5 through cone 7. Absolute core with SP217 White for that cottage look, or try our SP52 Shadow Green to see those metallic flecks really shine.

It is a mild-mannered, easy-to-use mid-range stoneware, great for throwing and much, much more.

Available in 12lb cubes

To use: wedge wet clay, work as preferred, and fire to ∆ 5. Use with mid-range glazes.

*Please be aware that natural impurities may occasionally occur in our clay! Our clays are made with natural minerals, mined from the earth. In some rare cases, natural impurities, or ribbons of other minerals, are mixed in with the raw materials provided by our suppliers. This can lead to clays that don’t perform the way they are supposed to. If you have any questions about a particular clay body, please reach out to info@seattlepotterysupply.com.
